Pingling holds a PhD from the Department of Social and Preventive Medicine, Faculty of Medicine, University of Malaya. She also holds a Masters of Public Health from the University of Leeds, UK. Pingling has over 31 years of experience in health sector. She has undertaken a wide ranging scope of work for programmes in developing countries and emerging economies. Pingling’s working experience includes, project identification and feasibility studies, project design, planning and implementation, monitoring and evaluation. She has undertaken numerous assignments related to health system strengthening, public health, equipment planning, health facility functional planning, feasibility studies for investing in private health sector, hospital information system planning/ implementation in Asia and Africa.
